The  SentierElsa  is an equipped trail of about 4 km that winds along the banks of the Elsa River, starting from the  San Marziale Bridge  and reaching the  Spugna Bridge.  Along the route, you'll encounter wooden walkways, river crossings with ropes, and rest areas immersed in greenery.

Highlights along the trail include:

• La Steccaia  and the  Callone Reale:  hydraulic engineering works dating back to the 11th century, used to channel the river's waters into "gore, " artificial canals that powered the city's artisanal activities.
  

• Il Diborrato:  a waterfall of about 15 meters forming a deep pool, ideal for a refreshing stop during the hike.
  

• Le Caldane:  ancient thermal baths of Etruscan and Roman origin, evidence of the area's long-standing thermal tradition.
